Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines – January 20, 2024
The Grand CdeO Eagles Club and The Grand CdeO Lady Eagles Group, a civic organization dedicated to helping the community, organized a “Save SEVERE ACUTE MALNOURISH (SAM)” project on January 20, 2024. This initiative addressed malnutrition among children in several barangays of Cagayan de Oro City.
The project involved the distribution of essential supplies to combat malnutrition. A total of 2 trays of eggs were donated to each of the following barangays:
- Bugo
- Lapasan
- Camaman-an
- Carmen
- Canitoan
- Kauswagan
- Bayabas
Eggs are a rich source of protein and essential nutrients, making them a valuable food source for children suffering from malnutrition. The Grand CdeO Eagles Club's and The Grand CdeO Lady Eagles Group's initiative demonstrates its commitment to improving the health and well-being of the Cagayan de Oro City community.
